Hi All,

Just to let you know that we have spent the past couple of days at the drawing board [COLOR=orange](OK, you got us, pub+envelope)[/COLOR] working on a brand new system that has been ear-marked for a DRIVERHEAVEN EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK

Man, am I setting myself up for a fall if this don't work/impress you all

I'll posts back here as we hit the key stages:-

Final component selection
Initial physical build
Walk to the local recycling centre with the idea as we appreciate how horribly mis-placed it was
[COLOR=orange]While 'idea is pants' go to '1'[/COLOR]
Final physical assembly
Software build and overclocking
Delivery to the DriverHeaven Labs for an intimate grilling
BBQ time as our ideas get a flame-broiling
Time to wish I'd gone with a different strategy

i like final build concepts...... usually a month or 2 after the fact is when you start really fine tuneing them

OK - project WON'T be using a QX9770 - we are not happy with the price/performance ratio...

...other chips are now being tested/tortured

Hi All,

H2O is likely to be involved - but we also want to hit an 'affordable price point'...

...so we are likely to use the G0 Q6600 - cos it's hard to beat !

We like the new ATI graphic cards for general performance...

...and our guys are just looking at the 'water block options' for the 4870

If you see a bunch of these posted here...

...then you can assume we leaked
