Hm, I'm having a small but annoying problem with these drivers (with any set, actually). The max sound output level is slightly lower after a reboot (or after the startup, if you like). The only way (AFAIK) to get it back to max is by selecting some other speaker setup in Audio Console and then changing it back.
Weird. I want the volume maxed out wheneverI fire up my rig. :|

Pax_Audigy_V6.00.rar should be based on 2.18.000 not 2.18.001.
pax 5.30 & pax 6.00 Just a few diffence.

2.18.001 sound quality great but can't modify a2->a4.

hi there

thx rob for the drivers. i got a lot more fun playing normal music ! but my biggest problem is that every movie sound is total crap with your drivers !
the bass is much to high and every voice isn´t very clear anymore. so i think
i´ll go back to daniel-k until ddl is added by you or creative ! this way didn´t work for me so far...

or do u have any clue how to fix the prob and get dolby or dts working as it should ?

p.s. i´m using x-fi music with your latest drivers and an extern decoder (denon) which is set up via digital coax and DD/DTS settings off (extern decoder)

Edit: i noticed now that the channel settings with the drivers are totally wrong. didn´t get any of my rear speakers (they are put out over the front speaker as well)

Hi Robert,

I did not have any luck with the 6.0 for Audigy/Audigy2 on XP Pro. Mic bug is still there and the EQ did not work. I had 2 fatal errors trying to get them uninstalled and finally gave up and just re-imaged over them with Acronis.

Still my favorite set is 5.20 because the mic works and they do sound good for music and gamming.

They just ID my A2 as A2zs.

I have the same problem in this version in 5.25 and 5.30 Audigy. Audio Console is install, but the drivers isn't install. I need to install drivers manually.
In Audio Console :
- EAX doesn't work (the white panel is empty) ;
- I don't have Dolby/DTS settings

So you want me go back using 5.20 dfiver?
I think I know which file grab for dolby

I make new fix this week. I guess I make new driver for vista with vista installer and work on audigy more with 5.25 set since that best set so far.
