I have use Driver Cleaner, and after I have install Pax 5.25 on Vista.

My audigy 4 isn't install and creative audio console doesn't found any card.

Hello, I have made registration only for say "Big Thanks" and "Respect" ;O) i've tried beta drivers 2.18. with fresh install soft'n'drivers from CD..result EQ Out of memory. Same with latest oficial (remove all, also with drivercleaner trough safemode etc) then install all from driver CD and web update sh*t... still the same. With your Drivers everything works even better in all aspects... WXP32bit, SP2, Audigy4pro. I've tried for fun only install PAX 5.25 over that webupdate mess and I was surprised too much...everything works perfect. Tried all installed creative soft. Cool that most common features are from latest drivers... Good Job and you have my big admiration.... Creative should buy you a brand new car for your support...
EDIT: What I dont understand, why creative have info trough their drivers [COLOR=#3300ff]SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0001.exe [/COLOR] that supports WXP, Audigy4pro and no warning about EQ problems. I thought that oficial drivers will fix that issue but they don't. I see a lot of people have same issue and they was pushed to completly reinstall drivers and update them to 2.09.0016. And Creative? No reasonable solution in their forums. Seems that I will make some Bank Account only for saying "thanks" for people like you Robert.... Even I am not too much rich

I have really funny bug.. I am O.K. with it but let's see

1. Opening or not Control panel-speaker volume. When I change volume trouch creative surround mixer (Master Volume) then: Left/Right channel moving, Channel 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 jump Low, and Channel 8 jump High. When I change volume by Remote controller then left/right Chnls moving, chnls 3, 4, 5 jump High, 6, 7, 8 Low :oD With volume controller on Extended panel moving channels 6, 7, 8 and anytime when I hit volume controller on keyboard all channels jump in line like soldiers... If that was due to latest ffdshow codecs or by my Asio experimentation ..I let you know.. Anyway that don't need to be fixed becasue I am using keyb volume ;o) and mainly maybe it was due to my interference... Tommorow ghost/drivercd/pax/ and we will see

Thanks for reply... allready tried, no mather what I do, when I touch master volume trough surround mixer, channels 3,4,5,6,7 jump on low (so only front speakers playing and volume trough keyboard wheel put all sliders together back..

also tried uncheck "synchronize with Control panel" etc... Tried uninstall everything (drivers, ffdshow, asio stuffs w cleaning) and reinstall... I will try install on clean (ghosted) win evening... Anyway excelent drivers and great work done on theese...I will let know about result... Edit: Please I have a question before install on clean os... It's better to install your drivers directly on Driver and software from Creative CD? Or should I make some update like 2.09.0016? PS: I also noticed on my P4 Hypertreating CPU... when CPU affinity is set to CPU0 only on Ctsysvol.exe ...everything is faster

working on original and modified drivers... I see creative dont support older systems too much

i've installed the new pax v5.25. everything is working fine i think, but the CMSS-3D stuff doesn't work for me... by listening to stereo musik i get only sound from my right and left speaker. i have a 7.1 system. turning cmss-3d on/off has no effect, it still sounds same. is this a problem with the drivers or just a problem with my pc?

this is the same problem im facing now.when i was using daniel_k driver,sound is coming through all 7 speakers. im using x-fi card,vista x64,6gb ram and creative 7.1 speaker system. is there any specific way to install this PAX driver?.i just double click the setup.exe outside all folders and displayed creative x-fi web update 6.

Resason that There no name support for vista So thats why I can't tag it yet

Ps you guys and gals want me try XFI drivers on audigy again? Let me know. thanks for trying out the drivers. And Yes please upgrade to lastes creative mediasource 5.023 version release. That may fixes your issues with the driver.

I was playing with my ps3 all day today. If you wanted to you can added me to one messeger in my profiles I haven't have skype installed yet lol. Then I send you correct inf refix it for you much quicker.

Did you upgrade to the newest creative mediasource 5.023 version release?

Hi Robert & folks. I just got my X-Fi Xtreme Gamer card a few days ago and haven't been able to get CMSS working at all in Vista 32 on my 5.1 speakers. Tried all the drivers I can find with no luck. It just does nothing at all. Surround works fine with DVD's and games, but I'd love to get my music through all speakers.

Another strange problem I'm having - the Creative diagnostics doesn't work with my rear speakers either. When I test the rear, the sound comes out the front speakers. But when I test the speakers in Control Panel all speakers work fine. Even stranger;- If I turn on CMSS and then in Control Panel select "Disable Sound Blaster enhancements" (CMSS), then the Creative speaker test works! (But I still dont get music out the rear speakers.) Same problem with all versions of the drivers.

Unfortunately PAX drivers dont fix either problem, but they do sound better than any of the others I've tried - thanks!

One question - Is it important to run Driver Cleaner before installing these PAX drivers? I bought a copy to try to fix these problems but haven't tried it yet.

Hi Welcome Try the Pax 5.20 set it's most stable thing right now. Yes all ways used creative audio lite to uninstalling old drivers then reboot.
I'm thinking about using xfi drivers from 5.20 set for vista drivers since Beta are crap right now lol. I'm also plan used XFI for audigy driver switch them around

02. audio console 1.20.57 \audcon\setup.exe [option]
03. cteq working
04. a2 -> a4 softmod
05. surround mixer working.
06. creative mediasource 5.20.23 working.

P.S. disable cthelper.exe、ctxihlp.exe from startup.
[run msconfig to disable them from startup]

hi thanks for ur reply.but i couldnt resolve the problem yet.Still i couldnt hear any sound from rear speakers(7.1 creative) when playing stero type files(eg -mp3s). But sound quality is very good in Vista x64 now.
What do u think about the new driver released by creative yesterday? and also suggest good driver cleaner software for vista x64.im using driver sweep software,but i try to uninstall the driver, giving some errors.

But sound quality is very good in Vista x64 now. What do u think about the new driver released by creative yesterday? and also suggest good driver cleaner software for vista x64.im using driver sweep software,but i try to uninstall the driver, giving some errors. ps-post ur puppy photo....
