Even though i have placed this front page..

I'm just a little curious as i already have a 81.98 whql file in my archives..... are these yet just another updated driver set?

did not see anything in the release notes that differentiates them from 'original' 8198. i think they also had support for 7800gs.

Nope. I just tried to install it to my brand spankin' new 6800GS AGP and it threw me back the message that "unrecognized video hardware" or something similar. WTF?

If this doesn't support my 6800 GS, why does it say in the readme that it does?
I am using this:
version 82.12, 12/19/2005 ), which is off from the installation CD (the only driver working with my card).

81.98 does this during installation:

81.98 don't support 6800gs agp, though they support the pci-e version.

Well, doesn't that suck? Now I got a new problem with my system, This one is insignificant compare to what is going on with my Motherboard/6800GS.
