Invalid Display Settings with Omega drivers

Hey All,

I have an annoying problem with so called "invalid display settings".
I had installed Omega latest drivers (1.6693) on my Geforce Ti 4400 + I had a LCD monitor. Everything was working fine.
Then I had to change my monitor to Dell P992 (CRT) and now there is this problem - when opening Display properties -> Settings tab, the following message pops up:

"The currently selected graphics display driver can not be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible with this version of Windows.
The system has been started using the default VGA driver.
Please contact your hardware manufacturer to get an upgrade driver, or select one of the Microsoft provided drivers."

I tried to reinstall the Omega drivers, but it didn't help. I tried to search the web, but didn't find any useful clues. On the Microsoft support page, it is said to be a common problem and they suggest to order some kind of hotfix (but do not guarantee that it will work).

My system is Win XP, service pack 2.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
