Big Grin some problems after installing the new 16693_7z

Hello all.

I got some problems with my graphic card. I have a nVidia geforce2 MX400 agp with 64mb. My computer works fine with the last version of omegadrivers, i don't now the version number yet. I installed HLČ, and tried to play cs:source, but the game told me, i have too old drivers installed. I downloaded the new version of the omegadrivers (16693_7z) , and installed them. But the game said the same s*** again^^. K, i uninstalled the omegadrivers, and i downloaded the original driver from the nvidia hp (v.77.72). lol, since them, the game wont start, i get some errors like "Video mode warning - Failed to set video mode - resetting to defaults. Game will now start with the new video settings." This s*** pupups 3 times, then comes a new window: "Video mode error - Failed to set video mode. This game has a minimum requirement of DirectX 7.0 compatible hardware." grrrr , i have directx 9.0c installed, and i dont now whots wrong =(. and nview can't clone my desktop to my tv, too...

What can i do to fix that problem?

Thanks to all,
greez Rockafella

System Specs

you have direct x 9 c installed but your card does not support 9c. Check the min requirements by valve.... i do not think the gf2 cards make it.

that is extremely odd, Rockafella.
I'm not actually sure if the GeForce2 MX is supported though. But considering that the GeForce4 MX was supported and its basically an super-clocked GeForce2 MX, I dont' see why your card couldn't play. Did you use DriverCleaner Pro to clean out your drivers?
