BSOD on boot with Forceware 77.72, please help.

When I updated from 66.93 to 77.72, I got a BSOD (irql not less than or equal to) when booting. I have tried just about everything including DriverCleaner, underclocking the RAM and processor in the BIOS, changing to AGP 2x and 1x mode, and even a full clean install of Windows XP. The only thing that worked was reverting to 66.93, even 71.89 or 71.84 cause a blue screen on boot. I am using a 128MB Geforce FX 5200 with an Asus A7V600 motherboard and Athlon (Barton) 2800+ with 512MB PC3200 memory if that helps.

exclamation

Uninstall your old drivers in the control panel / Hardware.
Reboot go in safe mode and clean the old driver files with DH cleaner( Choose nvidia).
Reboot to windows install your new 77.22 drivers.

You allready have done this , but it works only in this sequence as discribed above, hope it helps You out, some people remove the drivers with DH CLeaner in normal windows mode, that can make conflicts with old and new driver files.

But beware these 77.72 drivers are full of bugs (it's a dragon these drivers) maybe your lucky.
I Installed the 77.50 back again.
