Beta Forceware 77.18 WinXP & Win2k Driver

Once again we have a new beta driver for you to play with. This one is marked as version 77.18. You're probably thinking, "What's the point! It's an older version". That may be true but it's dated June 15, 2005. Same date as the 77.72 drivers from NVIDIA. This one doesn't have any 7800GTX tags though. Below is the scoop:

These are working better for me. I have a 6800 GT and I was having trouble playing Windows Media Files with 77.72

Same here, they would apper all white and cloudy. Im using the 77.50. Nvidia is spewing out drivers like a crack addict on the pipe. Why?

So far these drivers are working stable for me, no hassle with gamma & brightness to watch videos without a headache unlike with 77.62 & 77.72.
Feedback on other forums states that these drivers would have blocky shadows in BF2, havent confirmed it myself though.

So you're using the ones on the BF2 DVD and not the ones this thread is about?

Anyway, these ones are fine for video playback, no oversaturated video, but BF2 shadows are screwed.

May I ask witch ones are working the best for B2. I know with all the new and old drivers out there, it's not a easy question.

On my computer, BF2 runs very nicely on the 77.62 drivers, but runs horrible on the 77.72 drivers. I suggest you try the 77.62 set.
