No Mouselag anymore with these driver on a FX5600 Mem/Clk @552/@270 .
The BF2 runs verry smooth with these drivers.
Btw i can set my clk frequency @290 now i discovered, without any trouble on all games.
Looking forward to the 77.xx WHQL (77.60 i think ??)

Look at these:
FarCry 1.3, Pier Timedemo
1600x1200x32, no AA/16xAF:
FW 77.50 => 36,2 fps
FW 77.13 => 33,4 fps
FW 76.44 => 34,0 fps
FW 73.00 => 32,6 fps
UT2004 3355, Primeval Timedemo
1600x1200x32, 4xAA/16xAF:
FW 77.50 => 13,3 fps
FW 77.13 => 13,1 fps
FW 76.44 => 12,3 fps
FW 73.00 => 12,3 fps
Doom³, timedemo1
1600x1200x32, 4xAA/16xAF:
FW 77.50 => 19,4 fps
FW 77.13 => 19,2 fps
FW 76.44 => 19,3 fps
FW 73.00 => 18,8 fps
The Chronicles of Riddick, Intro
1600x1200x32, no AA/16xAF:
FW 77.50 => 33,1 fps
FW 77.13 => 33,1 fps
FW 76.44 => 33,0 fps
FW 73.00 => 33,8 fps
Painkiller & BooH 1.6.1, C5L1
1600x1200x32, 4xAA/16xAF:
FW 77.50 => 75,3 fps
FW 77.13 => 67,3 fps
FW 76.44 => 50,2 fps
FW 73.00 => 49,7 fps
Tested on a 6800 @ High quality with no optimizations!
Nice. The improvements in Painkiller are phenomenal. It seems that nVIDIA's driver guys worked on better VRAM management because without AA the performance gain is near zero.
In addition to that I can say that all my problems with FarCry have gone -- and it's faster too.
Soundbug in WoW? Nope.
Shadow bugs in BF2 Demo? Nope. Runs faster than ever ... but I can't get AA work.
Greetings from Germany,
Raff

Well AA and AF doesnt work on these drivers for me. They are enabled but dont work. The game profiles also fail to work.

I have found 76.44 a good all round set, especially for the 6800 go.

'the boys' have had a lot of things going on in real life lately. that & for whatever reason they have been spending their time on ati drivers .
what a waste of great talent !
i think as soon as they get done with their dark side work they will be coming back to the light. as soon as they are able to release a beta we will get busy testing it & get that final out to everybody.
