Updating nvidia driver problems...

I have had a Toshiba p15-479 for a little over a year now, and I have been trying to update the video drivers forever. My driver is version 44.85. I am a total noob when it comes to drivers and whatnot, but several times I have gone to the nvidia website to download the latest driver. I follow the hints (disableing antivirus, uninstalling old driver) but each time I run the setup, it says there are no drivers that support my hardware. My video card is a Geforce FX Go5200, and my computer has Windows media center (although the driver that came with the laptop says its for windows 200/XP) Can anyone here help me out or give me advice on what I should do? Thanks!

Nic

Matth will become famous soon enough
System Specs

They need to be modded, to work on a laptop

MCE may complicate things, as it may be harder to get it accept an uncertified driver (which it will be after modding)

Cool! Re

In the control panel -> Hard ware first uninstall the current drivers,
reboot press F8 choose save mode.
Use Driver heaven's Driver cleaner pro, choose nvidia and clean.

Reboot to normal windows and
Go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ to download the drivers which support the Go card.
Like Matth told you
Install drivers wich are suittable for your Go card.
Thats the whole procedure.

Hope this helps
