exclamation Critical Problem with Omega Nvidia 1.6693 Drivers!!

Hey there guys!

Just installed the new omega drivers on my laptop (well, it's actually borrowed from a friend which makes this more troublesome coz he's gonna kill me for this) and after re-booting i get a black screen (after 10 seconds) and it stays like this forever.

Any of you guys experienced the same problem or know how to solve this?

any kind of advice appreciated...

btw:

graphic card -> nvidia geforce go 6500 (or was it 5600?)

laptop -> sony vaio

when you turn it on, hit f8 several times, and choose to boot it into safemode. Then from there uninstall the drivers, and run DriverCleaner Pro, and reboot. Now you can try reinstallign them, and see if it works, if not, repeat the safemode process, and install a different set.
