Nvrotate
Has anyone actually GOT NvRotate (display rotation) available?
On their page, it says for ALL GPU's, and the info is on the 9x page.
Is it my card (a 2MX), or is it my OS (98SE)
Anyone with BETTER cards seeing Nvrotate support in 98?
Anyone dual booting, do you get Nvrotate in WinXP but not in 98?

Runing WinME and a G4 440 MX, I get the rotate opt. when I use the 40.82 drivers fr nVidia.

40.72 not 40.82, unless you've found a later leak!
I gues that confirms the capabilty IS in the 9x/ME driver set...
It might, though, still be limited to WinME, but more likely, to later chips than the 2MX I have - or I may have a bad install.
Under what menu does it appear? - the main options, or tucked away in NVIEW settings?
On this page
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=feature_nvrotate
They SAY it supports "ALL NVIDIA GPU's"
Actually, The GF4 440MX rules out the possibility of it being tied to the exotic features of a full GF3/4 model.

Try this post again!! (never took the first time WTF?)
I am not sure that it confirms that it's confined to the 9x/ME or not, I use XP Pro also but not those Driver verisons in XP.
As for the Location, it's a menu item on the slide out menu under Advance / GeForce X XXX Menu.
I hope this makes sense, I am tired and not sure I am making any sense .... GL!
RIP!

My slideout doesn't show it.
Since it's the Win9x/ME driver, and you DO have the option on yours, that leaves 3 possibilities.
1. It's available on WinME, but not under Win98SE (though I find that unlikely)
2. It's available on the GF4 MX440 and some others, but not on a GF2 MX - despite them saying "all Nvidia GPU's"
3. My installation is stuffed - now that IS perhaps the most likely.
Ruled OUT, are:
1. Only in XP/2000 driver
2. Only on DX8-hardware cards (the GF4 MX440 being liitle more than a souped up [full] Geforce2)
I guess I should try a reinstall of the drivers, using "Detonator Destroyer" to get a thorough cleanout

Yeah I would have to agree, try a clean install of the drivers and see if that works. I would try a G2 card and see for ya, but I don't have one right now, just sold the 2 that I had.
You could always try writing nVidia Tech support and see what they say. GL!

YES!
HOT: Nvidia 41.09 sets leaked on DH
They are leaked beta - and unusually small - maybe they lack Internationalization or possibly Nview?
Must get the Destroyer and then give 'em a go - the first > 40.72 set to appear for Win9x/ME as well
