People are saying that nVidia has fixed the temperature bug...so give em a try and report back ppl.

If they have not then I suggest yelling heartily at them and then looking less favorably on there driver support, as I am beginning to do.

The new WHQL official drivers are built after the 8th.

WHQL Certified
EDIT: sorry that's release date... not build date. I was hoping that they rebuilt the drivers with a small fix that didn't warrent a revision change...mia culpa.

EDIT2: just some more info

if you're going to live with the temp bug, you might as well use the 75.90s or 76.10s.

I installed these yesterday, the temp bug was there, I don't care anymore, I do have gurantee on my card.

My scores are 5874 in 3D Mark 05, 13800 in 3D Mark 03 and 71200 in Aquamark. The IQ is just as good as the 67.66 I used before.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=665364

The strangest thing though is that now my idle temp is 53??? Just like the bug had dissapeared.
