Cool! Ahem! I said "THERE'S NEW 9X/ME 31.50 DETS!!!"

I posted this story on the news page about it, I kind of figured that since NO ONE replied either it went un-noticed there or no one here uses 9x/me with their nVidia hardware anymore.

I like these. I scored high in 3dm2k1se, probably about 50-100..but my system is still in the middle of some playing with and that ain't the most reliable of numbers. (Sorry, I was playing again. )

But these suckers sure game nice!

If you're having trouble with the 40.72 set I'd recomend you give these a try. I personally sort of like the 3x.xx series on my GF3 for some reason a little better than the 40.xx onces on the 98se side, although I live by the 41.03 set on the XP side of things and can't WAIT to see the next set.

What is the diffrence ?

I mean, except for the advanced panel in 40.xx ? I gained some 600 marks when I installed 40.72 over 30.82. It gave me 60fps in nature test in addition of some 32 with 30.82. It also gave me much more controll over TV-Out. One thing I noticed with 40.xx is that when fastwrittes are enabled, I get screen flickers occasuanally, but not with 30.xx. Not acctualy any speed improvment with FW on/off...Can you give me a hint what are 31.50 like ? Can I expand TV picture over a whole screen or is it like in 30.xx, no control what so ever ?!

Well, to be honest...

...they pretty much seem like any other 3x.xx series driver to me. Not much excitement with them 'cept they are new, I'm back to the 40.72s on my 98se partition again.

i installed them this morning and did only a 3dmark run, and ofcourse it's slower then with the 40.72
But i don't like the 40.72's because they online increase the 3dmark score by making nature faster but give artifacts in other games
I need to play some games with them but i found a AGP 1x-4x slider in the control panel, haven't seen that before.

Maybe...

but try turning off fastwrittes in bios, you wont losse performance but you will get rid of artifacts in games. I needed some time to figure this out but , TRUE TRUE =)
