Omega nVidia drivers = rundll32 @ 99% CPU???

I've seen a few people mention having the same problem but so far I havn't been able to find a solutino to this on the web anywhere.

Has anyone else had a problem with a rundll32 process chewing up all their processor time after installing the Omega drivers?

Two days ago I downloaded the latest Omega drivers and they fixed a problem I was having on Vampire: Bloodlines and my girlfriend was having on Bloodlines and Sims 2 with some really nasty flickering on the menus. But in both cases, the games ended up becoming unplayable due to a "rundll32" process chewing up a TON of processor time and taking time away from the game making everything really lurchy.

Reinstalling nVidia's stock drivers on top of everything seemed to fix things, but we still have a problem with the flickering (tried playing with the refresh rates and such and that doesn't seem to be the problem).

I'm going to start playing with individual settings myself at some point, but the Omega drivers seemed to really do the trick..... EXCEPT for that rundll32 process.

Here's the command line string that helps identify what DLL the RUNDLL32 is executing. This works in XP only as far a I know:

tasklist /m /fi "IMAGENAME eq rundll32.exe"

Has anyone else had this problem with OMEGA and RUNDLL32?

Brief system specs on our two PCs:

Mine - AMD XP3000+, nVidia FX5600 Ultra 128MB
Hers - AMD XP2700+, nVidia FX5700 128MB

Tested with Vampire Bloodlines, Sims 2, Need For Speed Underground 2 and World of Warcraft.

Omega drivers installed for Quality and Performance, same results.

Thanks to Omega for putting out a great package, just want to fix this one little thing and it'll be perfect.

And of course thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this issue. Thanks!

The omegas are really old. don't waste your time with them. try the official 66.93s first, then you can experiment with betas or modded drivers.
