OK, I have seen your post.
I will give you the link when I get home, I am in school at the moment, so I don't have access to my favorites.

Modified BIOS is either with Ultra133 (removed RAID features) or Full RAID mod.

You can get a plenty of modded bioses here.

Ultra2 and Ultra-ARU share the same bios (except for Ultra2-C).

dumb question but...

why not use your raid for raid?

i have a 160gb array (2x80gb 8mb cache) and it runs circles around each one separately (and can easily hold 5 hours of completely uncompressed video in a single recording)

i'd rather just have any HD's in and keep them normal..

what flash tool did you use to flash this on?

i tried AMIFL827 but it comes up with invalid chipset/flash type

it did this the last time i tried to flash with the latest bios and somehow i got past it one time and dont know how.

i'm typing

c:\bios\AMIFL827 A6380VMS.560

tried it wihtout capitols just to see and no joy too.

ive even re-named the files and that still wont work

help me plz. coz i really want this bios on it.

cheers
