Default Post Now that there are no problems with Nv Dets 41.03....omega 41.03 will appear?

please?....

I ve read your page and your words that say

I prefer to keep the current release (based on the 30.82) until nvidia gets rid of the 40.xx problems, if the problems are solved then I'll do the awaited release.

so...now that the problems are solved....are you going to do finally the new version of omega drivers?
I ve really enjoyed the 1.1.82, but the 40.xx give to the Gforce an extra power, performance & quality....
I´m using 41.03 with my Ti4400 and they work sweet...but ....im still missing the omega ones...

I dont want to push, hurry or bother you...is just that I really wish you could complete this version....

besides you do it or not...let me tell you that you always made a good work, and give us a great alternative to the Official drivers....thank you very much for that...

cheers,
Mich

*cough* *cough* I never really liked the Omega drivers, and 1x Aniostropic filter looks pretty nice with close to nil performance loss, so why bother with Omega drivers (which are basically just modded nVidia drivers?)

BTW, I can't change my mipmap bias for the life of me, I set it to -2.0 and got same looks/performance...weird.

is like free will,
you dont like them? dont use them...
I like them....and I´m not the only one....
so in this way, there is an alternative for us too...
simple as that...

Thank you Gorilla,

The omegas are basically drivers that, if you have ANY sort of computer tweaking savvy, you can create yourself. It just messes with certain texture quality aspects and mipmap biases.

Now the kX drivers for Creative, even though I personally don't like them, they truly are alternative drivers in that they were (to my knowledge) completely handwritten from the ground up. THAT is choice.

Some ppl just dont get it... when you install and or download the omega drivers it says modded NV drivers. Reno you make it sound like they are evil. But oh well.
