Default Post What's the problem?

I sort of like 'em. I haven't had any real problems with them, they're zippy, and the IQ is incredibly tasty to me. What's not to love about 'em?

Smart one - ATI rollz.
My friend prefers Omega's 30.82 based over any 4x.xx's.

I'd like to know why the drivers are listed on the Quadro page.

control panel gets screwed if you just install over your previous drivers.

Tried that one, and it didnt work, used nv cleaner etc etc even resorted to a reinstall of XP one day and still did it on a fresh revamp.

Sorted it via a post on the newsgroup.
For all those people having issues with control panel try this.

If your control panel is crashing after installing the 41.03's try renaming
the file c:\winnt\system32\nvrseng.dll to something else, worked for me!

To those who have Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2: Have you noticed any performance/IQ issues with the game? It seems that with these drivers, that the game is running a bit slower, and IQ has gone down. Time to revert to older drivers again!

Default Post Uninstall

I have stopped uninstalling because windows xp creates new monitor drivers each time you do.. I have 8 monitor drivers currently installed and I cannot remove any of them from the registry.. does anybody know how to?? I am going to email nvidia about it..

Default Post THESE DRIVERS ROCK!

These Drivers are the best ones yet! All the coolbit tweaks work now and my Open GL benchmarks Jumped up a considerable bit! (enough to place me into 7th overall in my class on GLexcess!) Very stable and allowed me to achieve a better overclock on my Totaly air cooled Soyo Dragon Ultra Platium Edition Athlon XP 2100+ System with a Gainward Geforce4 Ti4600 750 Golden Sample. ( 334/741 ) 8311 XS Marks. Im very Pleased! YOU MUST deinstall all previous drivers first no exceptions, if you want the best performance!

You have to uninstall monitor (manually) every time you uninstall drivers. It is the whole procedure.
Now the solution is - reinstallation.

Worth replacing the 40.72s with? I know OpenGL performance with the 40.72s isn't necessarily the greatest...but my little 56k dreads another 12meg download.

Hell yes it's worth changing to the 41.03's as this is the biggest and best out there and I think that Nvidia have really outdone themselves with these, Game like UT 2003 run like a dream with all the settings on maX and AA on 4x for me and AF on 8x n1 Nvidia
