Go5200 Omega 1.6177 video overlay problems

Hi.

Just installed Omega 1.6177 on my Dell Latitude D800 notebook (GeForce FX Go5200) to see if it would stop Windows Media Player hanging when I closed my lid. It did (apparently) but had two undesired side-effects:

1) the video overlay doesn't stretch properly to fit the window any more - instead just the bottom row of pixels is stretched right to the bottom of the window

2) the overlay-to-TV-fullscreen automatic mirror doesn't kick in when I play an MPEG any more (maybe this is an option I haven't spotted somewhere)

Any ideas? Apologies if this is covered somewhere already, new to the forum, couldn't find it, yada yada!

Thanks,

CupawnTae

This is the same problem I am having. I am also using omegadrivers on a GeForce FX Go5200.

thanks for ur suggestions, but i would prefer to fix this little bug then changing to a new driver, since it's only DVD video playback that I am having probs with.. everything else about the omegadriver seems perfect for me.

i think maybe it's just a setting i need to change, but i am a n00bie so i don't know what it could be.

It's probably the drivers. The omegas are based on the old 61.77s. We are up to the 72.10 betas already. The last officials were the 66.93s.

This happens with Realplayer too. I think mediaplayers in general do not 'sleep' well. I don't think this is necessarily a driver issue.

One of the harder WHQL tests is the sleep test. Non WHQL drivers may have problems with sleep.

Just a guess.
