What Graphics Card/Motherboard chipset do you have?
I get that black flicker too, but with the offical Nvidia Drivers. What causes this? |

Think it's the driver version, my girlfriend had the same. Uninstall , clean with drivercleaner and try another version/.

this happens to my friend and this is when the computer is resizing the resolution. Or it could be something different

The screen flashing when windows starts is because of 'Coolbits' being set.
This enables the overclocking page, you can disable it by clicking here : http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/infs/o...ck_disable.reg This should stop the flashing screen on startup and when opening Display properties. If you can live without overclocking then just use the above on any driver that has 'coolbits' enabled and no more flashing screen. Hope this helps, Pieter.

I've figured out what the problem is. It's to do with Windows not knowing the make of monitor I have. If you look in your display properties and have your monitor set as 'default monitor' or 'plug and play monitor' you get the flicker.
I've just installed the 66.00 drivers and it found my LG monitor, no more flicker. |
