Omega Drivers Installed?
I just installed the newest version of Omega drivers for my fx 5200 128mb ddr. but i am wondering if i have installed them correctly. Should there be an icon in the taskbar with Omega tools or anything?
I also installed them on my old Voodoo 3 2000 card and they came with 3dfx tools. and i noticed a great improvement in FPS. Have i installed them right or should i unstalled the Nvidia drivers then installed the Omega ones?

I don't really understand what you are saying,
did you also install the Omega nVidia drivers on your 3DFX card? As for the Icon thing in the taskbar, you can switch it on or off in your nVidia driver properties on the troubleshooting tab. |

I'm guessing he means he's ran the install exe but not updated the drivers. Always read the README file, it will tell how to install them.
Go to Device Manager/Display Adapters/Double-click on the card/Driver Tab/Update Driver. When the Wizard comes up choose 'install from a specific location (advanced)' then 'Don't search, I will choose the driver to install'. Seclect 'have disk' then browse to the Omega folder in Program files, then the 2kXP folder, select the .INF file. Job done. |

Eurotrash is right. If you have installed the drivers, right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Dislpay\Analogue Display. Go to 'troubleshooting' in the left pane and check box, show NVIDIA settings icon.
