??? problems with omega driver

hi

first of all i hope you will understand my english!
well, this is my problem:
i want to install the omega driver 1.5303 on pc! i got winXP prof. the installation works without problems! but after ive restarted my computer the refreshrate is set to 60 hz instead of 85 hz! i cant change this seetings coz i cant find my monitor ( <-- is this english?) in my device manager, it just diappeared! so i have to install a windows update called something like "nvidia display driver"! after this my monitor settings are all back (refreshrate at 85hz) and i see my monitor in the device manager again! the problem is that now my graphics card doesnt work with the omega drivers anymore! does anyone know what i did wrong or what i have to do?

1. The Nvidia Display update is the ?latest? driver Microsoft wants you to use. 2. you installed the drivers then you went to the advanced tab of the Display Properties and you cannot find the Monitor Tab on that?

well...

before i tried to installl the omega driver i had the actual nvidia driver for my card! for my monitor i got zhe original iiyama driver!

after i installed the omega driver the refresh settings did change! first i tried to fix it in the device manager but i couldnt find my monitor there where it normally is! so i couldnt change the refreshrate! the only thing i could do was to install the "nvidia sidplay driver"! after that my monitor was back in device manager with the iiyama driver i used before; but the omega driver was gone!
i see its hard to explain it in english maybe i shall try a german side!
