Geforce Ti 4200 PNY 64 MB

Hi, i've had this problem for awhile now, but my friend told me to come here cuz he said people here are nice.

well anyways,

i have an
AMD XP 1700+ running windows XP sp1
256 mb DDR ram
40 gig hdd
Geforce Ti 4200 PNY 64 MB

i can get into windows fine and windows will run just fine,
but when i try to run a 3d game, thats when the problems kick in.
in counter strike 1.6, i get an fps of like 2-3.
i tried running warcraft frozen throne, and the startup screen, where there is the choices for battle.net, single player, etc, that screen lags up SO BAD and most of it is black.

i tried updating the drivers, didnt work
i tried running a refresh rate control tool, didnt work
i dont know if it is my computer, or if it is the video card.

right now the only option i have is to revert to my geforce 2 mx 64 mb. =(

any options?
would flashing my bios help??
please email me or reply.
thanks.

Do you get these problems in any other 3d apps, check if the vidcard fan is working.

I have a Ti4200 128MB, first installed with included drivers. No problem. Then used Omega 45.23, awesome.
Did you use the default drivers that came with the package? What versions of the driver did you install?
