These drivers are awesome. IQ and speed is better then any other driver I use. My number one driver now. Shuki I recommend you give them a try. There is a good chance you will like them.

All of Nvidia's drivers are a unified architecture. AAll the cards use the same driver software. So, yes.

Tested them on my GF4, very good drivers.
In UT2k3 (Asbestos-Botmatch, Aniso deactivated in Driver) my average FPS jumped from 76.0fps (45.23) to 77.7fps (52.16), my highest score so far.
Aquamark also got faster, from 6094 to 6235. That may be because of Aniso-"cheats", but I think 3DCenter verified a while ago that all Aniso-Optimizations don't affect any card other than the FX series.
But the best thing is that negative Mipmap LOD-values work again in D3D, since Det23.10 you had to use RivaTuner to patch the drivers if you wanted to use this feature. It's much cheaper than Aniso performance-wise and helps a lot on a GF4.

I used detonator destroyer. Checked my mouse rate and it was 125hertz (normal usb speed, check using ps2 rate)
This happened with the last 52.xx driver I installed.
Can't say its really a problem at the moment because I'm getting a 9800xt arriving on my doorstep in the next week or so but its still very annoying.
Oh and I found the new refresh tab very annoying. Previously I'd used reforce to get my custom refresh but I got a tad lost when I tried the 52.xx's answer to the problem. Ended up using the new 'change resolutions' tab then finding that it hadnt worked only to try the override tab and to see that they had fixed it :/ Waste of a good 10 minutes adding all my custom resolutions and colour size's.

well.if thats the case then don't worry about the mouse error youre having.
just make sure you fully uninstall the nvidea drivers and use dc or dd you have before you install your 9800xt. enjoy the card when it comes.

When I installed these drivers on my GeForce2 MX-400, After restart XP can't change from 640*480*4 Bit to anywhere so I have to restore my previous driver 45.23. On nVidia site they say it's only for FX series. How could I run it on my Sys.

if they are only for the fx they work very well for me on a gf4ti4600!!
they are for the whole range of cards.did you overwrite your previous drivers?
or you may of d/l betas!
did you acquire them from Nvidia main site.
ps when you install new drivers the screen does occasionally reset to low rez & colour.

Funny you should mention that cos it also happened to me. I just ran the setup.exe again, restarted and there it was working again. That was a new one to me though...it doesn't let you change resolution from 640x480 for some reason. You can set it to 1024x768 and choose the colour size but the second u hit apply it just throws u back to 640x480 8bit.

ashfaqone try this:
1) download driver cleaner from http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/ then install.
2)open driver cleaner then find the option "cab cleaner" then use.this removes the old 27.42 drivers from sp1.
3)remove drivers from add/remove option.
4)when asked to restart do so but when restart hold f8 then select "safe mode" from options given.
4)when in safe mode open driver cleaner for a second time then select "nvidia"then press clean. this removes any inf files windows leaves behind.
5)when complete reboot to normal,if cab cleaner is successful you should get the add hardware window instead of installing above drivers(27.42).
6)disable any anti virus software.
7)locate & install 52.16 dets.
reboot and things should be fine.
you might have conflicts from overwriting previous drivers NEVER DO THAT.
hope that sorts out your fault.
ps after option 5 you might be worth reinstalling dx9.0b and the latest chipset drivers for your mobo.

You don't need to reboot after safemode or remove the cab files- once you've booted into safe mode, cancel the hardware install, run the file cleaner and then, once that's done, install the .16's. Works a charm as long as you have a decent file cleaner. I use Nvidia File Remover (available from www.guru3d.com).
