Problem with Jedi Academy

Just bought SW: jedi academy today, and thought i give it a go.. Kewl enough, but i seem to be having some weird happenings in some missions... (I dont remember what the mission is called atm.. last mission of the first 5 you get) Also had this happen in one of the multiplayer maps.. everything turned all black xept some textures here and there.. I am only able to actually get a glimpse of the texture when i use lightsaber and stand up close to it.

Check screenshot here : http://217.13.2.154/jediacademy.jpg
Here i throw the lightsaber, so you can actually see there is texture "below".. http://217.13.2.154/jedithrow.jpg

The fogging seems very much messed up.. I first used the 52.13 beta drivers, and thought naturally this was it, cos of the new optimisations and such, but i now tested 45.33 as well (screenshot is with 45.33) and there was no difference..

Anyone got any hints? (I have tried to enable/disable diff settings ingame as well as trying 16 bit color more but no avail).

Forgot to mention.. this is with a GeforceFX 5900 Ultra card (From Asus).

I also ran tests with my old GeForce 4600 card, and the graphics are as they should be then.. With the same drivers.. So i for one cannot figure out why this is happening.. What is it with GeForce FX that makes this look so crap (not to mention make it totally unplayable?)

Well.. seems the flaw was drivers.. i installed the old 44.03 drivers as they were the ones "certified" by Activision on this game.. and viola' the game works..

well.. guess ill send them a quick mail about the problem.. if it still persist after the next WHQL drivers from nVidia in the Detonator 5 series arrives.. some time..

Yes.. well.. the 45.23 is the latest WHQL drivers that works, so 45.20 beta should work as well..

To get rid of my GeForce FX D3D "Flickering" i need to use 45.33 or newer, and this and newer is the drivers that have theese problems.
