AAAAAAAARRRGH!!! The Dig wants new drivers NOW!!!
What the hell has happened to nVidia and the big leakfest we've all been waiting for? I've had about as much fun with the 29.80s as I can, (and don't get me wrong, the 29.80's are sweet! ), and I WANT SOME NEW BETAS TO PLAY WITH!!!
Where the heck is nVidia's corporate office located anyways? Is it within driving distance of me, 'cause I think it's about time I had a talk with those people about this!
Sorry, no real information on anything other than I heard that there is a set of Detonator 5's that has passed WHQL and I got sooooo frustrated at hearing it that I just had to post a "vent" thread. (Dang it, if a set has been thru WHQL certification already you would really think someone would have gotten their mitts on a set by now...don't ya? )
I'm just frustrated, anyone else who's feeling the same is welcome to vent here and who knows...maybe someone from nVidia will read it and feel sorry for us. (Hey, it could happen! I've heard they actually LIKE their customers...unlike a certain Canadian viddy card manufacturer I could mention... *cough_cough*ATI*cough_cough* )
Whatever...I'm just posting in hope.
EDITED BITS: I moved it from "nVidia XP/2K" to here. I spaced and posted it in the wrong thread, then decided to see if I could figure out how to move it here. Methinks they made me a mod just so no one else would have to waste all their time fixing my mistakes.

Actually I belive I said this before but 30.xx drivers are not Detonator 5's - just a continuation from 29.xx - still detonator4.
People originally assumed that 30.xx would be Detonator 5's but they're not. If Detonator 5 exists - its not 30.xx....

No need to torture us..... It's become very clear that ATi leaks are more prevelant around here than nVidia leaks.....dammm what ever happened to the good ol' days when Det's were popping up everywhere

I, uhm, might have slightly rubbed the whole ATI crowd heres nose in the fact that there were tons of Dets being released to play with when it had been months since any decent ATI leaks....I reckon it's just another case of "payback is a bitch".
Two points to the fanATIcs, but our day shall come again real soon. (I hope, damn it!)

Any results yet.....like I said in another thread, if you are not happy with this set and want pure speed, you can always install the newest ATI driver build!
