problem with 45.23 WHQL
Hi, just curious does anyone also has similar problem. I just installed this newest driver on my machine but once I install it, I can't get into windows when my resolution is set at 32 bit(it works fine at 16 bit but very slow). I have a geforce 3 ti 200 and intel 815eea2 board. Anyone has the same problem?

did you fully uninstall the old drivers before the new ones? might be some conflict with old drivers *shrugs*

with my m8s system he can bring up display properties,go into advance properties, change screen rez,but to select geforce ti4600 tag it just dissapears and cannot change stuff like vsync etc.appart from that they seam better than the previous 44.03's.

The problem i have with det 45.23 is that it gets into windows then reboots, i can only go into safe mode and the problem is with nv4_disp.dll according to the report thingy i get when in safe mode.
44.03 are fine, my card is a MSI Geforce3 Ti500 and i've look around their forums and still can't find a answer so if anyone know how to fix it, that would be great. |

its looking like these long awaited drivers are not so good after all.must say that is partly the reason i switched to ati.nvidia cards have been a lot of trouble for some time.

It's not W32 Blaster is it? It's really easy to catch.

Most of the new drivers have improvements mainly for the newer cards like the FX range. For those with Geforce 3 cards stick to older drivers.

i think maybe it's msi geforce 3 card's problem. Mine is alway msi geforce 3. Seems like there is compatibility problem.
