29.80 WHQL Win2k/XP DRIVERS out!
Have u tried latest WHQL release yet? If you did or when you do, let us know how they perform in comparison to the latest 29.60 driver or latest WHQL 29.42 release.
If you don't have driver already - find it over @ Warp2Search

it sucked
Yeah, I've tried those drivers but I didn't like them. It made the graphics in my games look bland, grayish, and somewhat blurry. (The games I used were GTA3, Deus Ex, Longest Journey). Before going back to nVIDIA's official 29.42's though, I gave Omega's beta driver a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. The above-mentioned games looked very sharp and clear. Now I see why Omega's drivers are so popular. =)
Well, till the next quality batch of drivers come out, I'll be using Omega's too.

Ya the 29.80's were a dissappointment. I went back to 29.42's. I'll be doing Omega's as soon as I'm done benching some new thresholds on this puter.

I tried the 29.80 as soon as they were posted to the web. I found it odd that a new WHQL certified set of Detonator drivers would provide such poor results compared to previous releases. My benchmark scores were lower in 3DMark 2001 SE patched by about 400 3DMark points.
Even using Omega's latest release of drivers that are geared towards visual quality over FPS kicked their ass.
I am sticking with Omega's latest until something better comes along
