nVidia Omega drivers - quality Vs performance

Hi everybody, I´ve downloaded yesterday the new Nvidia Omega Drivers for Win2k/XP v1.4403 and when I started to install it appears to choose either quality or performance, I´ve choosed quality.
My question is if there is a diference from one to another?

I have a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 64 MB.

I still did not had time to test the drivers but they seem to improve a little the performance of the card,
but I almost just play Enemy Territory.

Hi Neo and welcome to the board! Personally, I always choose performance option but if you're getting decent framerates then just keep things as they are!

Quality - gives you a MUCH better IQ than original det, worth a try!
Performance - looks just like the det, a bit faster maybe.

Omega 1.4403 Quality available?

Hello,
Are you sure that the Quality version is available? This was in the following post
Nvidia Omega Drivers 1.4403 for Win2k/XP
"Update:
* Important: Due to a seriuos problem I had with these drivers, they will
work in "Performance" mode only, even if you select "Quality" during
installation, they will be updated as soon as I can fix it."

I did install the Performance version and I wait for the Quality version but I think this is not yet released.
BTW I do like the Performance version, it is a great job Omegadrive!

Go for the 43.45, it has the quality option and is the better choice anyway...
