Cool! Detonator FX officially released for all OSes.

You can go and download 'em from nVidia, they have the DetFX's available for all OSes.

BTW-DetFX=44.03, I'm downloading the 98se set since I've already played with the XP ones.

FluffyChicken is on a distinguished road

and only this morning I downloaded 43.45

hum * 44.03 is WHQL Certified for the GeForce FX family of GPUs

Guess their "Unified Architecture" isn't quite unified

For me they were not lieing about the 30% incease. Also the quality has been improved for me. I have a geforce 4. I have tested with newer games and older games and not even out games that are in beta stage. They all work perfectly.

44.03 on 98se

For me they score about the exact same on 3dm2k1se...but I'm pretty CPU limited on that anymore. I'm off to test some more, more later. (BTW-The image quality in the 9x/me set is SUPERB! )

They tested well, played well with great IQ, so no complaints from me. However, the infamous warning about non-certified drivers came up at the beginning of installation indicating of course non WHQL drivers. Anyone else see this? Thanks.

Well kiss my grits!

I got a 200+ bump in 3dm2k3 score and it looked pretty good...'cept for some sort of weird 'dancing sprites' around the airplanes in the first game test.....

Don't know yet. I just downloaded the 9x set today since they're new...I haven't gotten around to getting the XP set yet. (Sorry, I'll quit slacking. )

Wondering if anyone knows the difference between the:

nv4_disp.inf and the nv4_disp2.inf

Does it make a difference which one you choose for installation? Thanks.

OK, here's the deal. The nv4_disp.inf is for the FX series. The nv4_disp2.inf is for everything else.
