Nvidia Omega Drivers v1.169.21 for Windows XP/2k
Honey, I'm home!!!
I'm back, been busy, read my front page, enjoy the new site, need... to... catch.. breath...
What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.169.21
* Based on the Forceware 169.21 Official drivers.
+ Added resolutions not available on normal drivers and tweaked some that where.
* Added new D3D/OGL tweaks and removed obsolete ones.
- Removed all extra tools, only the drivers and Nvidia Control Panel are included.
* Lots of other internal changes that I can't remember, been too long from last release, hehe.
Known Issues:
Since this is my first nvidia driver's release in years and I have been working hard on the website, some features will not be available at the moment, like for example, laptop support, yeah, sorry, but I had to cut something out in order to make the release on time with the new website. Don't worry thou, laptop support will be back on next release for sure or in a possible re-release of the 169.21 drivers, that will depend on how fast nvidia releases their next WHQL set.
Get them here.
Enjoy!

OMG......
Thx man!
Never thought this day would come. I will certainly test these but might not have them installed to long because I need some of the fixes in the later beta's.

I think they only hold a few updates that Unreal Tournament 3 requires..appart from that they are the same as the whql drivers,as far as i know.

Nice, but didn't Nvidia ask another website to stop modding their drivers?
Or am I thinking of something else? lol.

Nick you are correct! Regeneration of the NGOHQ was "warned". But from my understanding Nvidia could not do too much to them.

You are the man Omegadrive! I love the new site. you must have worked your rear off on that. Installing the drivers now.
About NGO: Nvidia was pissed at NGO for having a patch hosted that enabled SLi on non-SLi motherboards, NGO fought back so Nvidia tried whatever they could to to make their lives tougher.

Ahh okay, Nvidia should have joined forces with NGO since NGO appear to do a better job with their drivers.
SLI on Non-SLI mobo's FTW.

Nice one sided opinion you made..All drivers react differently.I could see you're point if we all had had identical pc setups throughout. (that includes bios settings too).
I have tried both ngo's (although not the one's based on this set) in the past and i have had several problems with ngo tweaked drivers..
(I have never had any problems with Nvidias standered Drivers) so for me NGO's drivers don't work for me.
After a good hour of testing these drivers are the best i have used so far.
EDIT Nice work on you're website omega... looks good
I'm actually getting some pretty good FPS rates with these tweaked drivers with no errors.

Yeh I'm not really one sided since I prefer ATI drivers (excluding the CCC) over Omega drivers.

Alright folks, enough NGO talk. I'm sure they have a forum for that. Lets discuss Omega's work.
I'll get these installed this evening. Thanks for the release Omega, we've missed you.

The Omega drivers seems to work really well, and I would love to use them. But, at the moment, I'm having some serious issues when trying to force higher HZ in 800x600 and 640x480. I use those resolutions in many of the games I play so it is vital that I can force the HZ to 100 or preferably 120. But as it stands now, I can't do that with the omega drivers. It does work for 1024 and 11xx resolutions.
Any suggestions on what the problem could be? I'm using refreshforce (reforce) to force the HZ. I've also tried refreshlock but nothing works. Might try powerstrip but I would like to avoid that.
EDIT: Just encountered another problem. The 1024x768 resolution is totally gone in Counter-Strike. I cannot choose that resolution at all now.
