Where can you find BIOS for nVidia cards?
Ever since http://www.x-bios.3dgames.ru went down I can't find a website that has nVidia BIOSes. Does anyone know where to find them?

Well the closest site I could come across is www.station-drivers.com
Their VGA BIOS page is here:
http://www.station-drivers.com/page/vgabios.htm
These all seem to be brand specific BIOS but they do have quite an assortment.
I think your sig states that you have a PNY brand card? If so, then sorry, this page will be of no use to you.
I will try to look for more good BIOS sites so you might want to check back here occasionally in case I do find any.

So about how long has this site been down anywayz?
Now I'm curious to know where to get these BIOSes. I did a search in google using keywords related to Nvidia BIOS downloads and found nothing except for the link you already provided. Another site sure would be useful.

Hey thanks a lot Floruro. That's a good link you've posted there, they have quite a bit of goodies for Nvidia cards.
Thanks again man!

Pleasure man! If you need any help modifying/flashing just ask. I have my G4 4600 overclocked through the bios (bios version .34. cant clock too much with the latest .37), so i dont need to O/C in windows. Remember to use vgabios to test your modified bios before you flash to see that it actually works.

I cant remember about the file sizes and if it really matters if the sizes match with your default bios. When you flash with Nvflash, it will tell you if there is any mismatch. Using Vgabios first will let you test your bios without doing any damage. Regarding strap, are you using Ray Adams bios editor? Regarding Strap, i have the all the settings unticked, meaning NOT FW disabled, NOT AGP Sidebanding disabled, NOT strap overwite enabled.
Be sure to use the PCI-ID list regarding the device vendor and subid here: http://bunny.xs4all.nl/software/pciid.html . Otherwise, overclocking through the bios is very nice if you know your own stable setting. My Asus reference-looking card came with the .28 bios, and the newer bioses have way better IQ. Check for yourself. .37 has a completely different IQ, but i cant O/C too much with it. All in all, i stay with the .34 bios.

Hehe. Good one. Which reference bios are you running now?
For me the .34 was best all in all. On a G4 4600.
