Nvidia Omega Drivers 1.4345 for 2k/XP

I've been using 1.4345 Omega driver for a while with no apparent problem and I switched to 44.03 last week. I was happy until my system hanged few hours ago today.

Today, my machine hanged and rebooted by itself few times and gave me a message saying that 44.03 seems to be resposibility for the instability. So I switched right back to 1.4345 Omega driver following recommended procedure using 'Driver Cleaner' S/W. Then, at the first reboot after the Omega driver installation, it hanged again and gave me another message saying that Omega KX driver seems to be responsible this time.

What the XXXX is going on? I also experienced few blinks so far.
I hate MICROSOFT!!!

Also, what's good freeware Antivirus software?

I try to instal the nvidia_wxp_omega_14345.exe and while it was installing it ask my to insert disk 2 don't understand that but I was not able to install them can anyone help me please thanks guys.

i think you're installing them incorrectly.

when you manually update the driver via the device manager, use the .inf file from the \driverkx folder, not \driverkx\performance or \driverkx\quality.

if you want to install either the quality or performance set, then go into the appropriate directory, copy the .inf file, then overwrite the one in the \driverkx folder..

All I can do is to run nvidia_wxp_omega_14345.exe
There is no ini-file in that folder because I have to abort halfway through the process since it asks for disk #2 wich I dont have....

try downloading the set from a different website.

It was a week ago that you said they might be released soon. What problems are happening with the omega drivers need some help.

may not be a problem issue. good chance it is just a time issue.

working on the drivers is him being nice & i assume a hobby. he leads a real life. so working on the drivers would be a mood, priority level, time thing. jmo.
