omega said he optimises his drivers for the slower cards, might want to give those a shot. if you are playing newer games might want to try 4109. if you can, and are willing, test them both. you already know how the 3082 performs so would give us a good reference for g3. i am currentley running 4072 on my wifes g3. just reinstalled ut2003 and there was some minor speed & iq(subjective of course) improvement. i did this to test omegas point about game optimisation. he is right (of cousre). the difference did not carry over into anything else.(not positive that these drivers postdare ut2003 though) anyway if you are willing to try those 2 drivers-newest omega & 4109, please post your thoughts on the results. and yes i am rambling. again.

Now you'll have to omeganize the 44.03 one which is the best driver yet. Gives me an idea of what 50.00 is going to be like.

Multiply games! I have a big collection of games and I tested them with the new drivers that is I tested most of my games. Nice and smooth all the way. If I play a game that is now broken because of the new drivers I will be sure to report it here. OK! mike2h

omega drivers/nvidiaand GF3 4200

I have installed the 43.45 Omega drivers and the quality of the graphics seems improved but It also seems to slow down my graphics. I am looking the best divers to use with a GF3 4200 ti 200 128 for a flight sim game ????

43.45 drivers

I did the install of the Omega 43.45 and used the Perfromance leve setting. I am thinking that some of the newer drivers are really intended for the bigger Nvid card like the GF4 series.

mike2h....I do not know what that score represents, but I will assume that it is a good score. My thanks to you for your advice....does the 41.0- come in an Omega version? Does the 32.o9 cme in an omega version also?

i am not sure about it being a good score, i gave it as a reference. thought maybe you had 3dmark as it is a common bechmarking tool. that is what i get for assuming. as far as older vers of omega, check the archive, not sure how far back they go. i agree on the newer drivers being more optimised for g4 & up. question for you. did you go from 30 series driver to 40 series without a complete uninstall? or better yet, using the driver remover available on this website? quite a few people - including me, had various issues in that transition. just checking.

please have patience. omega modifies drivers in his SPARE TIME, and does have a life outside of them.

also, as i understand it, he had a mobo die on him over the past few weeks.

I skipped the 43.51 and I'm going for the 44.03, even thou I have seen many post talking about the driver cheats... And since MS gave them the WHQL, I think is safe...
I hope to have some time to work on them on the weekend, so is possible Sunday night or Monday morning release if everything is ok.

Nice to hear that your still working away. I don't care about the cheats because I don't benchmark. The way I test drivers is by playing games. I would recommend everybody else to that so then there would be less chat about drivers cheating but they can do whatever they want. Need any beta tester. Your less drivers were kinda buggy.

you hit that real experience thing right on the nose. benchmarking has its place for checking new drivers & for finding the 'sweet spot' when overclocking, but the bottom line is the actual games. curious, i have run the 4345 omegas with gal civ, civ3, ut2003, war3, & some dungeon seige, have not had a hickup. what has been going on with you? i hate nasty surprises from my comp in the middle of a game.

No spamming! Also Omegadrive when I apply anything higher the 4xS it looks bad is this normal. Anything higher is not able to be applied on the nvidias menu so I'm guessing it does that because I don't have support for it. Is that correct or am I in trouble?

If it is not on the nvidia CP then is not safe, that's why nvidia never included the option i the first place.

BTW, I'll be releasing the new sets based on the 44.03 this weekend if everything works good here...

Need any betatesters. Also did you do any major tweaks that were not in the last sets in this set. Who are they the same tweaks just using 44.03.

That's great news! Can't wait.

I like to say that I just installed my first set of Omega drivers (43.45), and so far, I'd say these are the best drivers I've ever used. I only use driving sims, NASCAR and F1. I detected a small iperformance ncrease in the F1 sim (D3D), and a significant performance increase in the other (OpenGL). However, I noticed a visible positive difference in IQ in both! These are superb Omega.

Thanks for the awesome job and tremendous effort. These are far superior in all areas to the 'mystery meat' we see from nVidia these days.
