Why don't the nvidia testers actually try to concentrate on what people report.
Hardware scaling for widescreen lcd's is still broken for 1440x900 which is supported but still falls at least an inch wider on the right side.
The last 4 releases has had this problem..Back to the 158.27 drivers for me.

Anyone else tried them?
Also, any idea when the next release will be?

Nah not tried em.
The above posts have put me off a little bit. And a few peole have discussed them here
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=95739
I'm having pretty good results with 162.18 so I think i'll pass for now - unless anyone confirms they've fixed the scaling issue with 8800 series.

I have found 163.11 have worked best for me outputting to a 52inch 1920x1080 sharp tv (for work and media). HDTV resizing turned off in the panel and displays built in scaling *enabled works flawlessly at 50 and 60hz.
