nVidia Quadro NVS 55/280 PCI driver problem

sup,

i recently started working at a IT department,

my first task was to update a HP T5720 client to enable it to show processes on 2 screens.

it's a thin client and the nvs 280 pci card was inserted, we installed the latest full driver for it, the 84.26 forceware, but when we try and change the video settings, it says the driver was designed for a previous version of windows and it isn't compatable anymore and it reverts to using the onboard sis mirage.

but with other t5720 clients already installed and working, this is exactly the same software installed. so i took an image of the other client, (in which was already functional and showing thnings on 2 screens. i loaded the image onto this client and it had the exact same drivers and software as the functional one, but the error message of the driver being designed for a 'previous version of windows' still appears. i've tried many other drivers and beta drivers but they still all say the exact same problem.

i've switched a different card of the same type but it still says the same thing

anyone got any idea on what the problem is?
thx

Gamblez,
