How are these official nVidia drivers when they're not on nVidia's website or FTP server?

I meant "original nVidia drivers" like it says on guru3d.com:
Quote:
We bring you a new release of detonator drivers today. Version 43.51 for Windows 2000/XP. These files are 100% original NVIDIA drivers.
The archive's files are dated 2 April 2003 which makes this the newest set available. Furthoermore all NVIDIA graphics cards to date are compatible with these drivers which includes the new GeForceFX 5200, 5600 and 5800 series.
No word yet on any performance increases. Let us know your experiences in our forums please. We have a dedicated NVIDIA drivers section.
The archive includes a setup.exe for easy installing. Language files are removed for a smaller archive which makes these drivers visible in English only.
|
Are they faster? Might just try them. What's that about the media center? 43.45 has that!

I have no benchies to prove they're faster but gameplay for me is better in a couple games and the fact that it has the media center usually shows that it is official most un-official leaks dont have it

K, these are the SMOOTHEST drivers I have ever had on my system, and I have had all Nvidia drivers - In that department they are great-- Need to test more to check IQ and things, but seem ok so far.

Lots of LUCK !!
ikon it seems once you agree to buy there product, the support dwindles.
ie (This is the reason for this site)
Bios updates are local. Just flashed my Chipset, and CD Writer.
My Main Bios bout a week ago.
The new drivers 43.51's look solid in my perspective. But keep in mind I'm still running a G2. Only have G4 at studio. A matter of perspective. I can still use Rivatuner to tweak, at Studio and G4 that technology is too old

Your not a noob BTW. Check out the NVIDIA FORUM.
sorry I can't help you further.
Maybe you can find help there. If not PM me and I will ask around.
I would you suggest you start a thread in NV FORUM.
Stating your PROB and asking for solutions.
You will find that other members are very freindly around here, and curtious

Hey guys!
so, the general consensus is that these are definitely a step up from the Omega 43.45 right? If so, I'm gonna d' them right away.

where did you get that? has any body compared them iq & performance wise to both the performance & the quality installs of omega? if so, please post.

Sorry if I misled you, but what I said was a question. I got that impression from all the positive feedback from the people who have posted and in particular :
>K, these are the SMOOTHEST drivers I have ever had on my system, and I have had all Nvidia drivers - In that department they are great-- Need to test more to check IQ and things, but seem ok so far.

sorry to say , there's not much of a difference between the 43.51 and the 43.51 WHQL version, what's the difference anyway??(apart from the 10mb difference)
