NV30 Info from nVidia

Ok, this is what we already know from nVidia:

The new chip will be manufactured on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s latest 0.13-micron manufacturing process.

Due to be out (or announced) in August.

Will most likely not be named Geforce.

Fundamentally new architecture from the GeForce 4 Titanium.

... First the RAM will be running at 900Mhz. Secondly, they are claiming at this point 200 million polys per second...The 200 million polys per second is almost doubled that of the GeForce 4!

900Mhz?!? That's fricking sick, it's so fast it's almost obscene!

Wonder what this will do to the prices over the next few weeks....

this thing will be 2.5-3 times faster than an 8500. they claim the r300 as 2 times faster than 8500...
