Sad Direct X test problem

Well, there's nothing actually wrong with the test. Here's my story:

I installed a new version of windows and left behind most of my software and games. I was just updating my drivers so i thought, why not get omegadrivers.net driver for my nvidio geforce mx 440. But before I did that I went through all of the dxdiag tests to make sure everything was workign first. All of the tests were perfect and everything was functioning properly, and I had just downlaoded the enwest version of direct x yesterday. Well, then I updated myd rivers witht eh omega one, and when I re-sdid the tests everything was fine EXCEPT the Test Direct3D. Instead of seeing a normal box spinning, I see the box all blurry, going extremly fast, and u cant read anything except the big green X. It happens with all parts of that etst. but all other dxdiag tests are working fine. So how can I fix this, should I just install the regular nvidia ones? I also havent tested if this affects game pefrmance at all, because I havent installed any games since the windows reload. But all other graphics and effects and visuals look fine, butI'm worried that if a gfame uses Direct3D it might not work properly. Thanks!

P.S. also, should my nvidia geforce mx 440 have pixel shader, because all games with pixel shader wont run.

Thx, Soccrmastr

GeForce4 MX's do not have pixel shader capability, to my knowledge.
I'd say try out some games first and see what happens. If it runs, awesome, if not, back to square 1.
