System Specs

Drivers wont instal - Can anyone help me_ANYONE????

I currently own a 6800 gt running forecware 81.98

ive tried to instal the newest nvidia drivers, yet it wont instal. About half way it says there are no drivers available to support your hardware.

ive uninstalled the video drivers before hand, still no go..i ran the Driver cleaner, still no go..

Im at a loss here.

Anyone have any ideas

PS- They were the x64 versions

Wait, so are you running Windows XP x64, right?
If so, then just try to make sure that your card is supported in the nv4_disp.inf

Now i do se my 6800 gt in there. So im at a loss. As mentioned, I try to install the newest set and it begins to do its thing, then Error comes up saying

ive included a jpg of the actual error....

Do you know what your video card's device ID is?
And you didn't really answer my question: are you using Windows XP x64 or 32-bit? I assume from your sig you're using x64?

Yes my system iis running x64. As for my id for card, im unsure...its a E-Geforce 6800 GT

i went to EVGA.com and downloaded the nwwest set from there...

Inslal went no problems


Why ill never know i suppose

Yes that was the message....... ive got new ones to work though, yet they came from the mobo manufactuer...
