I wonder how well the H264 decoding works?

I have to say, these are the best drivers yet. I am seeing (probably the first time ever with my NV card) noticable IQ and performance improvments across the board. I see big improvements in FEAR performance, BW2 run better, I dont get any flashing textures in Guild Wars, I couldn't be happier. If you havent done so, you should try these. And to the DHZP boys, get modding, these are the set.

Trackmania Sunrise
the 84.12's seem pretty stable to me especially with all the fixes but for me i need more FPS in Trackmania Sunrise because it's the only game i play lately. while thesse do give me a increase over past drivers the 81.98 whql's give me an average of 4-6fps more and actually feel faster on my BFG 6600 GT 128mb AGP8X. I'd say these are pretty good to do a zeropoint package or the 81.98 whql's
One thing else i forgot to mention is that when you cut out the programs and services that start up to support the video card like nvidia display services, nwiz and the nvidia display control panel i believe. That you get in my uninstall/reinstalls that having these on cuts my Average FPS from 4-6 when playing or benching something like if I'm benching Trackmania Sunrise Extreme I'll get 178FPS but when i take those 3 services/software out it'll shoot to 181-184FPS. No I have to go retry the 84.12 and see how they do again.

84.12 are great for 7800gtx. could differ on other gpus.
H.264 clocks in at 35% average cpuload (A64 3500+) using WMP.
wait a minute...

Yes
If it's like the H264 decoder for ATI it's quirky with some players. BTW, do you have Pure Video installed?
