Refresh mess!! :(((
IH, sorry I've a 'serious' problem: after I've installed Omega Drivers the refresh rates get in mess
It always run at 60Hz (RefreshLock disabled) and if I try to modify the refresh value nothing change
Using RefreshLock utility is useless and I also try to force refresh with the option in installation program.
Pls, Can anyone help me?
Sorry4my english!
thanks, bEAsT.

Uhm...maybe.
If I recall XP correctly, hztool used to do the trick. (I didn't like XP...didn't keep it.)

NO !
Hztool only works under win 9x/me - For WinXP I can warmly recommend Powerstrip http://www.entechtaiwan.com - it does OC'ing, refresh rate locking and much much more

First question, did you reinstall your monitor's INF file after you installed the drivers? If you didn't, that could be part of your problem... when you install new driver, you have to reinstall your monitor driver/inf file which lays out what frequencies your monitor will refresh at which resolutions. Otherwise you are stuck with the crappy Win PnP inf which does limit the refresh rate at higher resolutions. Refreshlock reads the monitor .inf file, so if you don't have the correct one in, it doesn't do any good.
If you have a via based motherboard, I'd suggest you install/reinstall the latest AGP driver (4.10b).
When you install the drivers, just check the top version (non-fixed) in the O/P install wizard. RR's should work fine in 2D, then use refreshlock when you play a game. Refreshlock should be set to work only if the frequency is @ 60HZ. That way it doesn't affect your desktop setting refreshrate.
