AGP Write?
WHat is this option in SMARTGART called AGP Write? Its turned off for me. It was on when I had my Radeon 9800 PRO last year but now I have a Radeon X850XT-PE. Should I turn it on?
What does it do?

I read in some places that I need to update my motherboard BIOS?
I had AGP Write on when I had the Radeon 9800 Pro. Why isnt it working with my new card? They are both "Built By ATI".
I am using Catalyst 5.13 with Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition on AGP 4X.

friend of mine having the same problem, just started doing it over last 2 months
have moved in bios from auto to x8,still does the same,if you enable it in ati control panel, askes for reboot and turned off when on again, also noticed fast writes are off as well, when you enable agp to x8,the fast writes also enables as well, when it gos to reboot a message pops up on screen, not long enough to read what it is
any ideas
friend is going bonkers, having probs playing cod2 because of it
