Monitor goes blank.

Using the new Omega Drivers based on Cat 5.12 and was wondering if anyone faces this prob:

Once in a while (for same games) when a new area loads, ingame movie ends or starts or just any item in the game the monitor will go blank and the power led for it will blink like there is no signel or something. Not to mention the pc seems to have hanged even though ( I win-key, pressed 'U' and enter ) the hdd led seems to blink randomly.

Could this be because of driver incompatibility? Usually happens with new demos of games, currently with the new Hammer & Sickle demo. Or is it due to the psu ( cheap one ) supplying power to my x700, dvdrom writer, 80gig maxtor, 120gig seagate and 200gig WD?

Any help will be greatly appriciated!!
