New drivers - new problems...

I got a problem with the new OMEGA/PLUTONIUM XK1.0.71a driver.
I can't start any game without problems anymore.
Before, I got the Omega XP 1.1.58 without any problems (Radeon 7500), games worked fine and I had no problems to run my Monitor together with my TV at the same time without changing the resolution. Generally and because of GTA3 I decidet to install the new drivers. Games were messed up GTA3 looks like this here.
And screen resolution changes when I want to run the Monitor together with the TV.
(Miro V1770F, 17" @ 75Hz).
I hope you know what the problem is. Maybe it is this old Monitor (from 1998), but I'm not sure.
At the moment I reinstalled the old driver, but i'd like to stay up to date and GTA3 (and other games!) runs to slow thou I got a good pc.
