can anyone give me a working link (i.e not Filefront) to ATi's Ultimate CS driver?

yea, i have; whenever i try to install the tools, it says "video port not found", or something around that. can someone just host the file or show me a link, i've been lookin all over the internet...

Exactly why do you need these as opposed, to say, Omegadrivers? If it's OpenGL performance you're looking for, I'd give his drivers a workout.

If this is CS 1.6, you may want to extract the openglxx.dll from the old Catalyst st (before 5.1) and put it into the same place you have hl.exe. This will make the engine use an old OpenGL file, which will provide you with a better performance than newer ones do.

CS 1.6 is so old though.....even with the newest apparantly crap OGL drivers for 1.6 I Can run it at 1600x1200, 6x AA, 16x af whatever.....so can all of my friends and one of them is running a Radeon 9000 (he just forgoes the AA).
Its not the most challenging game for a PC lol
