Problem with priorities
Kinda shot myself in the foot here...someone gave me Tweak-XP Pro 4, so I figured itd tinker around with it, cause it couldnt screw up anything so badly that I couldnt sort it out...little did I know.
Anyways, I'm trying to figure out what the hell it actually did at the moment, symptoms (most likely unrelated) would be keystrokes and mouse clicks registerings 2 or 3 times. This happens randomly and but fairly frequently.
Tool Tips seem to use massive amounts of processing time, for example Everquest 2 will run quite happly at 30 FPS in a window untill I mouse over an icon in the System Tray and itll slow to about half an FPS.
Any tips as to what might be causeing this would be great thanks.

Do you remember what you have tinkered with? That may shed some light.
You run EQ2 in windowed mode ? If not - which SysTray are you referring to?

I hate those programs...you might consider a System Restore?

What about full screen mode? Any luck there? Or does your hardware somehow limit you?
Windowed mode can be pretty trciky to get working correctly with D3D based games - they are generally a poor sport. However, since you played it like that before (I assume?), chances are you need to try and force yourself to remember what you did.
Worst comes worse, if you have System Restore turned on, you could try and restore a snapshot to an earlier state. It may kill a few settings here and there (the reason why I don't like System Restore) but it may get you back to proper work.
