Just recieved the X1800XT, drivers no go!!!

I just got my Sapphire X1800XT 512MB, I just done a full format and tried installing the 5.10 officials and it looked to go normal, but when I got back into windows no drivers were installed...

I tried installing the card prior to the format but got either...

With the CCCs it says 'INF error Vidao driver not found', err I thought I was tryin to install it, lol...

Standard CP say 'Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup edisplay adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup.'

Specs are X2 4400+, DFI Ultra-D, 1x2GB OCZ EL Platinum PC3200, Tagan 480W and the usual stuff...

Any help will be thankfully received...

Hi there, i had the same problem with the card i picked from Microdirect today

the sapphire cd is pants, has the 5.9 cats on it, the way i got it running is by using the latest omega's 5.10a from guru3d and also just the CCC standalone from ati and its working ok

but i think it may be affecting performance from it though.

im getting 7200 05 marks with a fx57 all at defaults.

Yes, I just installed the Omega drivers and its working ok, I've got no control panels but the card is working, I'm getting 77,6xx aquamarks...

Guess we need ATi to get too 6.xx Cats...

I don't think they will work because the drivers are recognizing the cards... Even teh 5.11 betas didn't work...

5.11 betas?

The base 5.10a hotfix driver should be able to recognize them. Why? Because the latest Omega drivers are based on that set.

As already said, the hotfix driver should be working. 5.11s are close, and they have support for the X1800XT, so until those are received, use either the hotfix driver or the Omega set

Well, the first thing I did when I got the card was install the 5.11, and after every reboot Windows searched for drivers...

Ooo, I thought 5.11s had the fix, ok I'll run as I am till ATi release them...

Awesome card even withthe lack of driver support, I recieved CoD 2 too today...

And thanks for the advice...
