Greetings. I'm having trouble, here..
Hi,
First off, lemme say I found this place while looking for drivers that didn't screw my system
over. I just bought a Radeon 8500LE. I can get a display without any drivers, but Win-XP
isn't gonna do much more for me without a driver for this card. Understandable. But when
I installed Radeon's, and rebooted, my comp would go ape shit after loading windows.
So here I am looking for some decent display drivers. The problem is, after the "registering
fonts" part of setup, setup stops responding, and I have to close it, manually...
...Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
Oh yeah, great place you have here. Nice to meet you all. =)

D'oh..
Mine is an ATI Radeon 8500LE. Produced by Radeon.
I'm actually worried it may be my mobo. I *would* try the Omega/Plutonium drivers, but
the install wizard stops responding at the "registering fonts"(?) part of the install.
I have to manually close it, and abort the install. I've even waited a good 5 minutes. =(

That happened to another person too, get someone you know to extract them and send them to you.

Gaaaa.. sadly, I dunno anyone who can do it for me. (Damn, that *is* sad..)

....seriously, could one of you send it to me? I know it's asking a lot, but I'm not so
sure anyone I know could, or even would bother to do it for me. =/
