Ati Tray Tool-unable to retrieve information from bios
Hi! I install Omega drivers and noticed that the advance 3d tab is missing. So i went to click on ATI Tray Tool icon on my desktop and it said" Unable to retrieve information from bios....". I tried the drivers clean pro in safe mode. No luck. I know it works before because i was able to use advance 3d tab...any suggestion?

At first. You have to write your system configuration! I'm not David Copperfield and unable to see though this posts your video board
![]() At second try this. Open atitray.ini and change opt_oldbios_detection=0 to opt_oldbios_detection=1 |

Okay, My spec is IGP 340M, 2.4ghz. Model:Evo n1020v. 768 megabytes of DDS Ram. Window Xp of course. I install RADLINK and it works. I think there is something wrong with ATT. However, i would like to use ATT since Radlink is no longer updated anymore.

No support for IGP series, so you have to disable overclocking.

Same Problem here
I'm seeing the same problem with the latest Omega drivers.
My system: AMD 64 X2 4200 (no OC) Saphire Radeon X1800 XL 1GB DDR 3200 Asus A8N-E Motherboard (no SLI) I have tried the latest ATI ref drivers 5.10a and those load and install just fine. However after loading the Omega drivers 2.675a, I am getting the popup box title Error: " Unable to retrieve information from BIOS! Please report to developer about your board" Also, the advanced tab in windows display properties shows stock info, no ATI specific settings. ATI 3D Control panel shows the same thing. Help! |

Oh that's what you meant by IGP boards. I didn't quite know what that meant. I was thinking "Integrated Graphics Processor, etc.." Or are both IGP and X1x00 differenet products?
So the board is not supported, but how is disabling overclocking and I2C (what is that?) going to help? BTW, I am not doing any overclocking on this system yet with the video or cpu - still trying to get the proper drivers installed. And... when do you think support will be there? I love the Omega drivers and would love to continue to use them instead of the default ATI or Sapphire drivers. Thanx! |

Alright i have been having the same problem and i got it to work. Like Ray Adams suggested, change this field in atiray.ini.
; disable overclocking at all ; will be useful on unsupported hardware opt_disable_ovr=0 <<< (change this to 1) It should work now... atleast it works for me! I have the ATI Radeon Express 200M 128mb IGP |
